HOW WE FINISH IT
Most LVP complaints are subfloor complaints.
Click-lock plank is unforgiving of an uneven subfloor. Every dip you cannot see becomes a hollow spot you can hear, and every high point becomes the seam that separates in year two. The plank did not fail the floor underneath it did.
We check flatness and moisture before a single box is opened, and we level where it needs leveling. It may add a day to the project but it's the difference between a floor choice that maintains its aesthetic appeal for a decade, rather than becoming a issue in a few years.
We undercut door casing rather than scribing planks around them. It takes longer and it is the detail that separates a professional install from a weekend warrior.

WHAT IT COSTS
A single room of LVP
usually sits in the
Refresh band.
Removal of the existing floor, leveling, and whether the trim is replaced or worked around are what move it. Replacing the whole floor of a home moves into the Transform band.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Before you call.
The plank itself is. However a standing leak can still reach the subfloor through the seams, so it is highly water-resistant rather than a sealed membrane. For a full bathroom we recommend tile, it's the better call.
Over tile or sheet vinyl, most times yes, if it is flat and well bonded. Over carpet, never. Over a floor that is already failing, no. - We would be building on the problem, not fixing it.
No. We handle furniture as part of the job. Clear personal items and anything breakable, and we will do the rest.
Floating installs, immediately. Glue-down, we ask for 24 hours before heavy furniture goes back.
Every job is run by one project manager, installed by one crew, so no down time between trades, no surprise change orders without notice, no cleanup left for you.
